Noted Medical Oncologist Dr. Daniel Vorobiof Joins World’s Largest Cancer Social Network

A renowned oncologist, Dr. Vorobiof brings almost 40 years of experience, previously serving as Executive Board Member of the International Committee of ASCO, (The American Society of Clinical Oncology) and the Director of the Sandton Oncology Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
As Chief Medical Officer of Belong, Dr. Vorobiof will head medical research conducted by the Belong social community by way of its digital patient platform, as well as lead discussions in the community regarding cancer concerns and treatment.

Working in medical oncology since 1980, Dr. Vorobiof is the author of more than 100 papers published in international peer-reviewed journals. He has held numerous leadership roles with U.S. and European cancer groups, including Executive Board Member of the International Committee of ASCO, Member of the Global Melanoma Task Force, European Society of Medical Oncology Developing Countries committee, and Associate Editor of Annals of Oncology Journal, among other roles.
