The patient’s satisfaction with the company’s implementation of the Belong.life PSP was remarkable, as reflected by a high rating of 9.4 for both the support program and the Belong app.
Access to a dedicated closed community and a professional nurse proved extremely valuable for patients, providing them with quick and high-quality care, educational content, clinical trial information, and social support, as well as improving their overall quality of life. This resulted in higher engagement, satisfaction, better patient outcomes, and increased adherence to treatment.
In May 2023, a survey was conducted to assess the impact of Belong.life’s community on patients using the drug. The results showed a significant increase in engagement, satisfaction, treatment adherence, and better patient outcomes:
- 81% of the patients reported that the community helped them manage their disease more effectively.
- 81% stated that it helped them prepare better for their physician appointments.
- 90% of the patients reported that the community allowed them to connect with other patients facing similar challenges, providing a sense of familiarity and support.
- 22% reported a higher success rate in managing their side effects and symptoms.
- Additionally, the study found that support program members had a 7% higher medication adherence rate than the general IBD community.
