US-based Equiva and Belong.Life have entered a partnership for the integration of the latter’s conversational AI mentors into digital health engagement platforms.
This partnership will see the incorporation of cancer care expert Dave, and better health, sustainable weight loss, and lifestyle improvement mentor Fred.
Belong.Life CEO Eliran Malki said: “By integrating Dave and Fred into Equiva’s widely deployed platform, we are putting powerful, intelligent, and compassionate support in the hands of patients exactly when and where they need it.
“This partnership supports our mission to humanise digital healthcare experiences and to provide scalable, smart solutions that bridge the gap between patients and their care teams.”
These AI companions will offer empathetic patient support, accessible via tablets or mobile phones, allowing patients and caregivers to interact with the technology.
They will be integrated into Equiva’s platform at bedside and in-home care and address the requirement for technologies that improve clinical workflows and patient engagement without the need for additional downloads or learning new applications.
Patients can ask questions related to health, translate medical documents, prepare for doctor appointments, and receive emotional and behavioural coaching through these AI mentors.
Equiva CEO Nir Altman said: “This partnership takes patient-centred care to the next level by combining Equiva’s reach with Belong’s health-grade AI mentors.
